Knowing Your Why is Key to Financial Success, Fill Out the Worksheet Below to Discover Your Why
Convinced that behavior is the key to success? Great! Now let’s take some specific steps to help you permanently change your mindsets and some of your behaviors.

Let’s start, as promised, with where you are today. The goal is to give you concrete reasons why you should commit to making necessary changes.
Knowing the answer to the question “Why?” is an outstanding motivator.
Here’s a form to help you understand your personal reasons why you must change and take control of your finances.
To get you started, here’s a sample form we had an actual person fill out. His answers may help you start thinking about your own thoughts and feelings.
Sample “Why?” Form
- Why do I not have total control? What do I get out of not having total control? What are the positives? (If you can’t think of positives, think about why you are willing to not take total control).
It’s fun not to worry about what I spend. Sometimes I just want things, and if I don’t think about it, it’s easier.
There’s not much I can do about my finances anyway, so I just do the best I can.
